Molly was our September 2006 Spotlight Volunteer

Photo of Molly with Cecely & Jo Jo, starting their donkey training for cart pulling. This was Molly's first time working with the donkeys and learning how to drive them at the ranch. Three more photos of Molly follow letter from KG & BG.

Molly Horlacher is a relatively new volunteer, and she is a person, that no matter what kind of weather or time of day, "Molly is there is help the animals." Molly comes in all the stormy weather, and at 6:30am to start helping the animals!  HATS OFF TO YOU MOLLY!  Molly hopes to be a veterinarian, as one of her career goals.   Molly is very flexible, versatile, and can do multitasking very well.   Molly is one of our most dedicated, hard-working volunteers and we so appreciate her efforts and positive attitude.  She is always willing to help, learn about all the animals, and is getting more comfortable and confident with the animals' care and providing for their individual needs. Molly and Miss Avery "took good care" of all the animals, so Mr. & Mrs. Gress, could go to a wedding, something, that they rarely get a chance to do, because of all the necessary animal care.  Molly has gained knowledge and experience working with the horses and is also taking advantage of working  the donkeys to gain even more equine experience.  Molly's mother, Colleen, frequently helps, Molly and at The Gress Mountain Ranch, and has been very enthusiastic and motivating for Molly and myself!!  Molly and Colleen, we are blessed to have you....Thanks for all you do to help the animals, and promote:  Animals & People Need Each Other. Here is a photo of Miss Molly learning to ride, Dede. Molly did a really awesome job with her first horse back riding lesson, by Mrs. Gress. Here you can see Molly with Dede, in her first training session. Molly even got Dede in a nice trot, and stay in the saddle! Kudos to you, Miss Molly! note added Jan. 2007
